On January 29, 2016 the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) published Handbook Notice No. 29 and the Listing Rules and Disclosure and Transparency Rules (Miscellaneous Amendments) Instrument 2016, with other instruments, which makes changes to the Listing Rules and Disclosure and Transparency Rules (DTRs) following the FCA’s September 2015 consultation paper, CP15/28.
The Instrument makes the following amendments:

After a lacklustre finish to 2022 when compared to the vintage year for M&A that was 2021, dealmakers expected 2023 to see the market continue to cool in most sectors, in response to the economic headwinds of rising inflation (with its corresponding impact on financing costs), declining market valuations, tightening regulatory scrutiny and increasing geopolitical tensions.
